Maternal Fetal Medicine

Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) is a sub-specialty of obstetrics that focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during and shortly after pregnancy, in high risk pregnancies. An MFM specialist has the expertise in the most current approaches to diagnose and treat women with complicated pregnancies, as well as screen and manage genetic abnormalities and fetal anomalies.

When To Seek Treatment

  • If you have a history of pregnancy-related complications (premature delivery, preeclampsia or gestational diabetes)
