Dr. Jeffrey Chan graduated from Trinity College Dublin (University of Dublin) and completed his higher surgical specialist training in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Ireland and the United Kingdom. He obtained further Fellowship training in Aesthetic & Facial Plastic Surgery (DAFPRS), Hand and Wrist Surgery (Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital, London), Advanced Reconstructive Microsurgery & Lymphatic Surgery (China Medical University Hospital, Taiwan) and Lymphoedema Surgery (Japan). He holds a PhD degree for his research work in abdominal wall reconstruction.
His areas of interests in cosmetic surgery includes rejuvenation of the periorbital area (eyes), breast procedures (implants, reduction, lifts), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), body contouring (fat removal and fat grafting) and rhinoplasty (nose). He is experienced in managing plastic surgery conditions such as benign and malignant skin lesions, burn injury and scar sequelae of burn injury, conditions affecting the hand and hand trauma. His passion in reconstructive surgery includes complex reconstruction of the breast, hand, lower limb, post-cancer reconstruction and surgery for lymphoedema.
Previously, he served as a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgeon at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital, London including the Orthoplastic Unit at King’s College Hospital, London, and Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgeon at Galway University Hospital, Ireland.
