Endometrial Receptivity Analysis
This test is used to determine the timing of embryo transfer. To optimize the chances of pregnancy, the embryo must be transferred into a womb that is receptive or ready for it. ERA is a method that will help us tailor and individualize your embryo transfer.
We will prepare your womb as if we would on an actual embryo transfer. On the proposed embryo transfer date, we will take a biopsy of the lining of your womb. The test will determine if the timing is accurate and hence will enhance your chances of getting pregnant.
In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
IVF is one of the most widely known types of assisted reproduction. The procedure involves retrieving eggs from the woman’s ovaries. In the laboratory, the eggs and sperm are placed in the same receptacle for fertilization. The fertilised eggs or embryos are then carefully grown until they are 3 or 5 days old. The embryos can be transferred back into the womb to grow and develop into a baby. They can also be frozen at these stages for the future.
Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI)
IUI is a simple procedure that involves placing sperm inside a woman’s womb when her egg is ready. Semen is collected, washed and prepared. It is then gently introduced into the womb, shortening the sperm’s journey to the egg.
